Just curious what everyone is driving. Or who cares about their cars or you don't care what you drive, as long as it gets you to and from work/school.

still building it up actually. I have a nice big orange sticker across the front window that says "superman", a big orange superman "S" on the back window, interior painted orange and black, 18" wheels, body kit going on this weekend. And I took off the gay red stripe on the sides..

Still building it up. I just bought it last may, so I didnt have the money to do much to it last summer (b/c i paid 10,000 cash for the car!).

You can see the front of my celica in one of the pics - dont mind the poor attempt to achieve that french look on the garage doors.

it's show quality, just not huge show quality. i won 3rd place at a show with about 60 cars, but anymore than that and I would be tough to hold. i plan or doing a lot of work to it this summer and showing it off a lot. thanks for the comment bro. later

You should out some cobra r's on it. Those wheels are what basically say his car is authentic to the onlooker. See a lot of "fakes" but they are missing the tires because they are so hard to come by.

For all the guys with the mustangs you ROCK and sweet rides. Mine is still not done (not surprised with the family situation going.) The strokeker build (393) is almost complete though....My ex is spending the summer here with me so we will finish her sometime then I suppose, then just needs some new paint.

I hate Mustangs because they are the worst car. My mom's 1988 volvo wagon with 170,000 miles on it beat my friends mustang GT, the 4.6. how sad... an old grocery getter whoooooped a 2000 stang. plus, if you spit on the ground and a mustang drives over it, they will spin out of control and crash. my friend got in a really bad accident in his 99 stang and got hurt really bad and so many people told him, "duh!! didnt you know, Mustangs are the worst handling cars on the road and can only be driven on completely dry pavement." i could go on for hours....

He didn't realize the Mustang was in park, lol.

Not to be a dick but we've run enough Mustangs at the track from stock to beyond worked to know thats BS, the car was either defective, broke, or parked.

ST

Budiak
04-07-2003, 10:34 PM
Yeah right. Even against a 4.6 that is a complete impossibility unless the person behind the wheel of the stang was in park as ST noted or was driving a stick and didnt know how.

I'm currently building a 64.5 and unless a purist here wants to buy it off of me, I'm going to do some pretty sanctimonious things to a fairly valuable car. Any buyers?
No?

Ok, let the chopping commence.

Anybody want SIX 64.5-66 mustang front bucket seats(need upholstry or repair), and two rear benches, full sets of all original mustang markings(including the short 64.5 'mustang' fender letters)?Full 65 grill assembly? Good condition! Uhh, headlamp buckets...64.5 flat hood...'65 trunk lid?
I've made old men cry.

170ci engine? 200ci engine from the '65?
Window cranks? Kick panels?
Door handles?
Sanctimony!

2K_TEG
04-08-2003, 05:27 PM
I just saw the sticky. Some forums you have to get stuff approved, some you don't.

Why so many? Why not?

I live in Ohio so I can only ride the bike 3-4 months out of the year or freeze my nuts off. I don't really count it as a vehicle. It sits in storage most of the time.

The Integra is in SCCA trim for autox (sanctioned racing). No AC, no PS, lowered, loud, bumpy.

The IS300 is just comfortable for everyday getting around.

I used to drive a '94 Volvo 850 and it was so SLOW I could not stand it. I can't even begin to tell you how much quicker my GT is than my old Volvo.
Wagons are even SLOWER. I remember test driving a TURBO Volvo station wagon and it STILL was incredibly slow, even when floored.

Hey, thanks. It's a real fun car. Not a torque monster like a stang or camero, but it is fast and has a very even powerband. It is a DEATHTRAP in the snow, though. I put a ton of money into really good all season tires and it is still so easy to bring the back end around in the snow. That still doesn't change my opinion of the car, I love it.

Is your sentra one of the newer ones, spec-v or whatever they are calling it now? Even if it's not, sentras are very reliable. Just keep up with the matenance, oil changes etc.
