When I started BBing, I said I wouldn't take any supps. but it's hard for me to get as much protein as I need because I'm just tall and all that **** and I figured I need 300g so I started buying protein and I got no problem with that.

Thing is, I've been wanting to gain more weight because I don't seem to get big very fast and I was wondering if I should buy some weight gainers but I don't want to get too much into this supplement game and have one thing lead to another.

You think I should just eat? lol ... people say it like it's easy.

well, it is easy if you have access to a grocery and a kitchen :)

If you are having trouble getting in your daily calories you might want to think about purchasing a weight gainer. You could also try eating more calorie dense foods like nuts and peanut butter.

How much do you weigh? Do you need 300g of protein? I do take whey for some extra protein. But if I just want cals and carbs it pretty easy for me, just add side dishes to my meals. Drinks lots of milk too.

Well, in my case, although my weight is 230 at the moment - gainers have never made any sense to me. My metabolism is slow, and I'm a big believer complex carbs. Those gainers usually got a lot of sugar and I'd get fat quick. Why not trust shakes and bread instead?

I agree completely with ask. If you want to take in extra calories, then that's great, but why not make them quality calories instead of just loading up on simple sugars?

I used to take a weight gainer, mostly after my workouts. But I found that whey and dextrose is a much better alternative.

That's all weight gainers are anyway...whey and dextrose more or less, hehe.
