Forget both of them and buy cytogainer

If you will be using the weight gainer post workout then I would go with one sucah as N'Large which gets almost all carbs from sugar.

I would go with Cyto Gainer if using it at other times of the day.

Heavy Weight Gainer 900 by Champion Nutrition was a staple of mine throughout college... its by far the best tasting supplement ever put on the market. My roomates would drink all of it because it tasted so damn good (choc version)
as far as results, it depends on what your goal is.
At the time I was looking to put on weight, now I find that ample amounts of protein are far more important that oodles of stoopid calories that are in that shake.

i see...

i noticed cytogainer doesnt have that much calories in it but has 54 grams of protein in it... since i "stoopid"ly :swear: ordered the heavyweightgainer900 i think that + whey protein(50 grams of protein) + creatine(2-3grams) + glutamine should be better than cytogainer itself right?

If you are taking n-large post workout, should you also take dextrose, or does n-large already have the dextrose?

The N'Large already has plenty of simple carbs. No need to add any dextrose.

I would leave out the glutamine, especially if you are trying to gain weight. Glutamine is probably best served when dieting. Just make sure you have some simple carbs, protein, and you can throw in the creatine if you like.

yea... n-large 2 has more servings for the buck... less calories (i need a lot... lose weight pretty quickly) heavy weight gainer has 930 cals or so... but only 21 servings per bucket... so that means if i take it twice a day, that'll only last me about 2 weeks, but 30 servings... you get my point right?

ne wais... enuf of this blabbering tym to abuse these puny muscles

both of them are nothing but whey protein(s) and simple sugars. unless you are very active there are much better ways to gain weight

as?

If you drop weight fast, then eat more whole foods. Try to get 6 or even 7 meals in each day. I would use the N-Large only after a workout. You could always mix up your own gainer to drink for other times during the day.

why only after a workout

The Druid

It's full of simple sugars as LAM said, great for post workout when most of it should go into your muscles, but the rest of the day I would rather eat more complex carbs.

increase your intake of low GI complex carbs and fats.

Depends on how many servings you use in a day and how long you want to use the product.

I agree with LAM about increasing your intake of low GI carbs and healthy fats. Try eating more calorie dense foods like ww bread and natural peanut butter or a few handfuls of nuts between meals. Concentrating on calorie dense foods and eating every 2-3 hours will go a long way in getting your calories up without having to use shakes. Save the shakes for when you are crunched for time.
