I'm thinking of buying up a small stockpile of ephedrine, seeing as the jerkoffs who misuse it are going to get it banned :( I even saw it on the news ticker on Fox News the other day. It said something like "American Heart Assoc. moves to ban supplements containing ephedra". I wish the American Heart Association would put just as much effort into banning fatty foods and people who can't control themselves, and people who ignore recommended dosages.

Holy crap, are you serious? That is the dumbest thing I've ever herd just like when that guy tried to sue McDonalds for making him fat!

I was walking around in Vitamin World the other day and the lady working there informed me that they quit carrying all ephdra/ephedrine products. I agree in that it will just be a short time until the products will be removed completely from the market.

I was told the same thing a couple of months ago at the store where I buy my supps, but I thought the guy was trying to convince me to stock up on Hydroxycut.

If ephedra tablets are kept in a relatively cool, dry, and dark place, what kind of shelf life could I expect from them? Would they keep pretty much indefinately?

If ephedra IS banned, it won't be too hard to get your hands on it. Remember, 10 years ago the same controversy surrounding ephedra caused a big stir, but was eventually dismissed. That being said, I don't think ephedra will be permanently banned in the US.
