Hello! My name is Sandra Wickham and I am the 2002 (CBBF) Canadian National Fitness Champion-I am new to these message boards and wanted to introduce myself. (I am going to post in a few different categories!) I have been competing for six years.

well you see paul had to edit out her spamming advertisement. thus i dont think she'll be returning.

Nonetheless she does have an excellent physique, and i do hope she will be a contributing member

LOL, just 4 posts. The exact same thing here and over in the competitors arena, all of it word for word. I have to agree with doc on this one.

Hello again! It's still me-thanks for the compliments but GEEZ you guys are so mean!!! (Doc, Homeyeild) I've never been on any message boards like this before so didn't know where to start or what to do!!! I only posted yesterday and haven't even been back online yet until now!!! And yes I posted the same thing cuz I didn't know what else to write!!! I didn't know you couldn't post website addresses-they let me do that on another board I just joined. Of course I'm going to try to promote myself-if I don't who else will? I hope to be a part of the message boards, and would like to keep posting-if that's okay with you guys!!! Oh, and The_Chicken_Daddy: my tattoo is Dopey from the seven dwarves-long story! Thanks again-talk to you soon!

Do tell.

There's a spider that looks about four foot in diameter crawling down my wall right now, so i'm certainly not going anywhere...

Well, I wasn't drunk when I got my tattoo-it was during my second year of university when I also jumped out a plane and did alot of other crazy things!!!!

Hey Bryan, I guess there's not alot of Canadians on the boards??!! We do have lots of great fitness and bodybuilders though...uh....well, I could name some great fitness competitors that are Canadian, maybe not so many bodybuilders...(not counting Greg Kovacs...)...but they're out there, right?!

No, believe me, there are PLENTY. They're not the majority, but what they lack in numbers they make up for in attitude.

The_Chicken_Daddy: Sorry I left you 'hangin' with the Spider on the wall-I logged off and went to see The Lord of the Rings The Towers (again). I think alot of bodybuilders got jobs in that film as the Fighting Urak-hai! (unless they used alot of body suits) Anyway, the story behind my tattoo is really not that exciting, honestly!!

Belial-I like that!!

PS-How do you get that box quoting the other person's lines to show up in your reply? I'm still trying to figure this all out-I just tried to do this reply and ended up starting a new thread by accident-I think I just deleted it though..... :help:

Alex.V

Upper right hand corner of the person's message... there are two icons. edit/delete and quote. Click "quote", and it'll bring up a window with their quote in brackets.

The best thing is, you can edit it.

Did it work??? (this is so cool!) Thanks for the help! I'm a little slow on the posting, I know-busy busy busy. I think it would be easy to get caught up spending TOO much time reading and posting messages! I'll have to put myself on a 'restricted use' or something! Although it's a GREAT way to kill time before meal time if I need to! So where else is a good place to post in here?? I'd like to find some other fitness/figure competitors to chat with as well (not that I have anything against the boys...!) Thanks again for helping in my message board initations~!

Wickham, I gues you'll be at the show this Saturday at the Stanley Theatre eh? I was looking forward to going but I have to go to Victoria. I always end up missing these shows.

I will be there! I have two girls competing-one in the fitness novice division, and one in the fitness model division. It's the first time for both of them, a whole bunch of us (other girls I train) are going to cheer them on. Should be a good time! Sorry you have to miss it, I can give you a report when it's over!
(see, I'm getting better at this quoting thing!)

Please do, I go to the shows to get a better idea of what I might be up against when it comes my turn to compete. But I'm not quite there just yet. Plus, I love the atmosphere!

Good luck to your girls.:)

wickham
04-07-2003, 06:29 PM
Thanks! The girls are so excited-so nervous...it's so cute! They've both worked their butts off (literally!) and should do well. Will you be heading to the Emerald Cup to watch? Alot of Canadians are going to go down to compete. I have two other girls going there-should be a big show if you're able to check it out.

Unfortunately, I can only afford (time wise) to see shows in the Van city area right now.

There will be other local shows-like the provincials in Sept!

I'm going to try and start a thread going in the Competition area for fitness and figure girls to chat about training, dieting, competing, the pro girls etc. Hopefully we can get some people participating!! See you there!;)

welcome to the boards.

good to see a female competitor with a good head on her shoulders. we've been running across some strange sisters lately.

i look forward to your input. :)

Heya! I think you look very good. To be honest, I think you would look so much better with a little higher bodyfat and that would give you a more feminine look but in terms of fitness you do look 100%!
