View Full Version : About how many carbs should I be eating per day while cutting??

I usually take in between 1400-1800 calories per day.
90-130 grams of protein
10-25 grams of fat
150-210 carbs
Should I be eating less carbs??

You should experiment. Some people's bodies react diffrently to carbs due to their insulin sensitivity (or so I heard).

How much do you weigh. 1800cals seems damn low to me for a cut.

5'11" @ 154 um you need to worry about eating more....alot more...not how many carbs you need.

eat more, start off with how active you are and work down from there
if your very active, like every day intense, start off with mebbe 3400, wait 2 weeks and start dropping if you dont see a deficiant
active, 2700, then start dropping if no deficiant
no active, 2300, then start droppping if no deficiant
also depends on a few things off the top of my head
1) your physical size/weight
2) natural metabolism
3) when you do your workouts
but im sure someone else will post some more info, i dont know much, hell i starve myself to get my results
edit: im 6 foot, 172lbs (yah! empty belly) and my maintce is around 2400 cals, with a 3 day a week lift routine- no cardio

besides the generalized "eat more" mantra - -you DEFINITELY need more fat. i think that should be your first priority instead of the carbs.
