Is white bread a good post-workout source of high GI carbs? That's the only thing I am not sure on with my new bulking diet. Thx for any help.

White Bread is a good source of quick acting carbs. Its GI rating is 100. But a much better sources= to get your post-workout carbs from is Maltodextrin is quite high its around 125-130 GI I think....
If White Bread is all you have to use then use it... I found it pretty good to use after a workout. And its tasty too. ;)

I went searching in grocery stores and pharmacy's looking for maltodextrin but couldn;t find any. Where do you buy this powder? I seen it in the Protein Factory website but I'd rather buy it locally then buy online.

I don't believe you can buy it at any stores. Your best bed would be to try a health food store, but I'm guessin even they won't be carying it. I'd just buy it from Protein Factory.. IF that is you want pure maltodextrin. Maltodextrin is the base ingredient for several weight gainers being sold. N-Large, Myoplex Mass, Heavy Weight Gainer 900..etc. All of these have Maltodextrin in them, but also incorporate the needed protein as well. Hope this helps ya out. ;)

I'd prefere malto.

high soduim intake will not effect bulking. we except for extra water retention anyway
