I'm currently in a massing phase. I workout 3x/week - Mon, Wed, Fri.. I do legs Monday, push Wed (Chest, Biceps, Shoulders) and Pull Fri (Back, Lats)..

My question is about my caloric intake. I'm 20, 6'1", 178 lbs. My trainer tells me to get as many calories as possible (close to 4000).. I was just wondering if this is a good estimate.. All my calories come from clean sources (brown rice, potatoes, oatmeal, lean meats, eggs, etc..)

Well I would just keep adding calories to my current diet in small increments each week until you are gaining the desired amount of weight each week (approximately .5-1lb per week). Keep your calories at this level until weight gain plateaus and when this happens increase cals again.
