Hello, everybody.
I`m a 245 lb male, trying to gain more muscle mass through gymn workouts, but i`m wondering, at present, i`d consume about 140-160 grams of protein per day, is this enough? Would i notice an improvement if i were to up this to about 200-220 grams per day? Thankyou

double that. aim for about 240-260. At least 200+.

The general guideline is 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight.

Just eat as much as your calorie level/macro ratio's require. There's no set amount.

You need to get adequate amounts of protein. I would get 1g per lb, regardless of macro ratios, plenty of healthy fats, and then fill in the rest with low GI carbs. The macro ratios are really no that important.
