this is kind of nasty but if any one has done keto diets knows that your "solid waste" only comes about every 2 days and in little pebbles, no real S**T. whats the deal? is there any way to combat this?

The high fiber version of all bran works very well too. 13 grams fiber and 7 grams other carb per 1/2 cup. Pretty efficient source that tastes good. I can't find a way to stomach psyllium husk powder in a large enough quantity for it to be beneficial.

On keto, I find a minimum of 35-40 grams fiber per day an absolute necessity.

Since broccoli/cauliflower is a 'free food' more or less on keto, maybe just add about 5-10 cups of it to your daily menu. That will help as well. Some fibrous veggies work way better than others in my experience.

I agree with the above statement and also remember to keep an accurate count of the carbs that these vegetables contain. Although there aren't many "active carbs," you still should keep a count because every carb counts when on a keto diet.

Also if you are using a fiber supp like Metamucil make sure that you get one that doesn't have any sugar added to it. Psyllium husk powder would probably be your best bet IMO.

There's no comparing between physillium and spinach, brocolli and any other green leafy vegetables.
