I have read that HIIT and other anaerobic activity promotes increased fat burning for hours after the work-out, more so than normal cardio. How does this happen?

ive read that the HIIT raises your metabolism throughout the day. maybe that is one thing that hel[ps with the fat-burning during the day. just a guess though (o please dont flame me) ;)

Nutrient partitioning is one of the biggest bonuses of HIIT, according to Par Deus. That would explain continous body composition changes, even when not performing the cardio.

There's a HIIT sticky at the top of the board. You're most likeyly able to find the answer there.
