Hi all,

I am looking for guidance re my daily diet.

I seem to have an intolerance to bread/wheat so am looking for alternatives.

I am also getting tired of tuna.. what do you guys take for lunch? I have no fridge at work....

diet currently...

breakfast - cornflakes

mid morning - cereal bar

lunch - tuna sandwich/crisps/mousse

mid afternoon - apple

late afternoon - cereal bar

dinner - various

I am looking to lose fat whilst not losing too much muscle. I am trying to workout every 1-2 days. 1/2 hour heavy basic & 20 mins cardio...

it looks like you need a lot more protein. try to get about 1g or more per pound of bodyweight.

breakfast-try having some oatmeal along with some eggs/egg whites

midmorning- lose the cereal bar and go for somthing with better carbs and more protein

lunch- looks alright, but you could probably find somthing better then crisps and mousse

midafternoon- again, maybe a better type of carb and definately some type of protein

late afternoon- (same as above)

dinner- (i dunnno)

also, what are you stats, IMO that doesnt look like a whole lot of food.

also you'll want to at some more healthy fats, like fish oils, flax oil, natural peanut butter, etc.

try to get most of your carbs from lower-GI sources like- brown rice, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, oat bran, etc.

some ideas for protein include- chicken, turkey, tuna, eggs, cottage cheese, whey, lean red meats, etc.

Hi Guys,

thanks for the replies.

I guess I should have posted some stats... 5' 8" 110kg 30ish% BF

I think my calories are down.. is there a site I can use to get the breakdowns?

What do you take for you meals at work? I am pretty stuck for ideas- looking for inspiration i guess.

I will start eating eggs/ oatmeal for breakfast which will be a good start.

I should probably be drinking more water too...

well i go to school.

for lunch i usually bring a sandwhich and some oatmeal.

i also make a homemade MRP that i blend in a blender, and put into 2 bottles and bring them to school, and drink them while im in class. (the teachers dont mind) ;)

You're lucky Ghetto. I tried that once and I got sent to the dean with a weekend detention :(

lol, you could always tell the teacher that you need to use the bathroom, and when you get into the bathroom quickly whip out an MRP and drink it down ;)
