I've been cutting for about 5 mos

The left side is 190 @ 19% bf
The right side is 170 @ 15%

I plan on cutting for another 3 mos or so.

You're not sucking in you gut enough. SUCK HARDER.

According to my bodyfat estimator you've lost 10.6lbs of fat and 9.4lbs of muscle. You should probably bulk for 1-2 weeks and then cut again at lower calories. It'll be a metabolic reset and maybe you'll put back a little muscle in the process.

ok so I sucked in my gut a little, so sue me :p

I know I've lost LBM, most of that was in the first couple months when I was still in the learning process. I've fine-tuned my diet and training now, and I'm on the right track.

2 week bulk? Metabolic reset? That may not be a bad idea.........

It works. In lieu of that you could try refeeding if you don't do it already. One day of lowlow fat with some sick amount of processes crap carbs. Recently I slowed a bit and at my current bf I had to go 2 days to get the effect, but the following week I started progressing again like I just began.

But yes, a metabolic reset can be quite helpful. Even on a little over maintenance calories (if you're very restricted) you could end up putting on a tiny bit of lbm.

Well I do have cheat/refeed days, but I'm only refeeding about 200-300 cals over maintenance. I think next weekend I'll order a sh!tload of chinese food and pick up some Ice cream, a box of Oreos, and anything else I've been depriving myself of.

Thanks for the advice.

No problem. I'd stay away from chinese and make sure the icecream and oreos are fat-free. You have to remember, the point is to get the carbs in the fat cells, not the fat ;) My last refeed was about 1.5x maintenance. I used things like dextrose + koolaid powder, sherbert, and dextrose/maltodextrin based candy.

Fat free pudding and fruit loops are great refeed foods as well.

Thanks for all the kind words guys - I'm gonna cut for another 3 mos or so, I won't stop until I'm teh shredded. And then? Then I'll start a long, slow, 6 or 7 month bulk.
