I used to do cardio four times a week for 30 minutes daily. The thing is..the machine I was using was set to an easy option so it was farely simple to do 30 minutes..and I sweated a lot. But lately I've tried a harder option in which its nearly impossible for me to even do 20 minutes..and I sweat a whole lot more..which one would you guys reccomend?

I'm going to recite what I have read about cardio and assume you perform cardio for the fat burning effects and not the cardio health benefit? According to everything I see it's not a matter of effort it's a matter of getting your heart rate in the desired zone for fat burning and sustaining it there for a duration of time......above or below that optimum heart rate will not provide you with the desired results..

MD2000, as v mentioned, I would use HIIT as cardio excercise.

HIIT is great.
but just for knowledge.
What is that desired heart rate ?
(220 - age - RHR) x intensity + RHR = THR
