I have b-ball game tonight in about an hour and I had a turkey breast sandwich about 5 minutes ago.
B4 cardio or lifting I always try to take in a mixture of carbs and protein
Was the sandwich a good idea???
What are some other foods to munch on b4 hitting the gym or court.

I usually just eat a regular whole food meal about 1.5-2 hours before going to the gym. Although when I work out first thing in the morning I will have some whey mixed with water and some ww toast which is easily digestable because I don't have as much time before lifting. This way I don't have a bunch of undigested food sitting in my stomach when I am trying to lift.
The main thing is you don't want a big meal sitting in your stomach when you are trying to train, IMO.
The sandwich sounds like it would be fine.

For me, I usually have something high-carbed with moderate protein. Like a bagal with cottage cheese.
