View Full Version : Whats a good breakfast when bulking?

Currently i have about 2 cups oatmeal, 2 - 4 whaffles with whipped cream strawberries and blueberries, and i cook 1/2 cups egg whites (the stuff thats premaid) which is equivalant to 2 eggs and i also throw in 2 whole eggs. is this enough? i am currently bulking, should i have more carbs? eggs?

one last thing, i read in mucslefitness to have whey protein in when you wake up as part of your breakfast, what ya guys think? thanks-

7 eggs (1whole)

Dude, even though you are trying to bulkm isn't all the cholesterol from the eggs hazardous to your health?

Nope.

That's a myth.

Dietary cholesterol intake is completely unrelated to serum cholesterol levels for most individuals.

Ghetto Smurf, you rule! I have exactly the same breakkie as you. Except lately I've been topping my oats with a sliced banana instead of sprinkling it with splenda. Also I have 6 egg (1 whole).

What milk are you using in your oats? I use skim milk, or reduced fat, i dunno if it's still called skim.

a shake. i couldnt handle cooking 8 eggs and a cup of oats every morning, not to mention i hate eating before im awake a few hours.

That is a lot of cals for one sitting. How much do you weigh? How many cals are you taking in each day? The overall calorie intake for the day would be more important than just what you eat for breakfast.

I would probably just eat the oats and maybe more whole eggs.

I think if you are gettin protein from other sources such as the eggs then there is no need to have a whey shake as well.

i usually either have my oats plain, toped with splenda, or topped with some cinnamon.

ill have to try it with a banana, that sounds really good.

i usually just make my oats with water. ;)

The only way I can eat Oatmeal is with a banana. I used to mix it into the Oatmeal but sometime you get bites with no banana. Yuck. So I take a bite of banana, then a bite of Oatmeal and repeat. :)

Geez!! That is so off...I don't think I'd ever buy anything like that. It probably tastes really good tho...like all other junk food :D

i just had 8 eggs hashbrowns sausage and ham all mixed together topped with ketchup but i am cutting not bulking

My breakfast consists of 10 egg whites and 1 1/2 cups of oatmeal. I got really sick of eating the oatmeal and I ran out of ways to cook up the eggs so a friend of mine told me to make some pancakes. Take your eggs and oatmeal and throw it in a blender. You can add splenda, equal whatever and some cinnamon and blend it up. Fry it up like a pancake on the stovetop and add some sugar free jelly to the top if you want.
