My CD collection is getting stale .........last disc I bought was FACELESS.....I've heard some rockers on the radio (Systematic & Powerman 5000,Trust Company) .... I like Metal and hard rock stuff.......who's got the latest and how is it....(NOTHING I hate more than buying a CD for 1 good tune and the rest sucks).......makes me want to burn 100 copies and give them away!

I just bought Faceless last week and I'm very pleased - better than their last effort, IMO. Waiting patiently for new Deftones.

soon...very soon

White stripes are great. PM5K are great - is the new one out now? I have all their others

Oh and by the way "Faceless" Rocks!!! ...I'll be seeing Godsmack Sunday @ S.P.A.C.......didn't want anyone thinking Faceless was anything less than AWESOME.......I think the only time it's been out of the vehicle has been when I stick it in the Discman for workout....

Deftones is a good one. The new staind is well thumbs sideways more towards down. But either way I'm a music stealer.

If anyone likes techno/metal, I just got the Matrix:Reloaded soundtrack and The Transformer soundtrack (UK version!) and both are great. Esp. #2 on Matrix...Manson's "this is the new *****," I cant stop listening to it.

A blank one, I can fit all sorts of cool songs on it. :)

I generally will buy something if I wish to support the artist, but since I keep most of my cds in my car, and had about 90 of them stolen a year or so ago, I don't tend to buy that many anymore.

Anything by Lacuna Coil...an Italian metal band. Her voice is hypnotic and somewhat seductive...Odd for a metal band nonetheless.

Some new cds i got recently, Seether: its not to bad, Trustcompany is pretty good, afi: only has a couple good songs, the new Staind cd - 14 shades of grey is pretty good, the new nofx - the war on errorism is good, the new linkin park cd is pretty wicked two. Also the new Trapt cd id say is worth getting, has some awesome songs. Some other bands Wikked1 you might like are Chevelle, Saliva, Stereomud, POD, Finch, Incubus, theres plenty of good metal, punk rock bands that i like so i could make a good list.

If you like the direction Deftones were heading with White Pony, then you'll probably like it. If you're looking for the sound they had with Adrenaline and Around the Fur, then don't bother.

Natural progression as a rock group is a wonderful thing - it opens up your mind to new sounds, as the deftones has done for me. Also, don't forget the big progression from Adrenaline to Around the Fur. I would expect nothing less from the Deftones than a great progression from their last album. They've progressed more since 1995 than bands like Aerosmith and Rolling Stones did in 30 years.

You're right, that natural progression is a good thing and I'm not saying I don't like the album at all. I love all the Deftones albums. I do however, have a few friends that picked up the album because the liked Around the Fur and Adrenaline, and were pretty dissapointed in the new album and White Pony, but they probably just have a closed mind and not willing to accept a new sound..

I'm looking forward to "Hail to the thief" by Radiohead coming out.

"There, there" is awesome.
