Here's a decent movie snack for those trying to bulk up a bit:

1 cup whole wheat chex
2 tbsp natural peanut butter
1/2 scoop chocolate whey protein

Mix chex and PB in small bowl w/hands to cover. Add 1/2 scoop of chocolate whey protein and stir to cover. Eat.

424 calories
22g protein
40/40/20

* macro nutrient breakdown figured using Protein by Design swiss chocolate 100% whey.

I think I'm the only one that got the dog food reference.

The Chex coated in something brown in color resembles dog food, this snack is more commonly knows as puppy chow. Check out the side of the Chex box as it usually has the reciepe or my fav site allreciepe.com (I can't tell you all how many times I have pulled a quick something off of the site :)

It looks like dry dog food, but it does taste good ;).

This is the same thing as the puppy chow that everyone knows, it's just been modified a bit to fit our needs.

Chex is made by Ralston-Purina Corp, the same company that makes Puppy Chow.

And probably makes it w/ the same ingredients :).

I tried it tonight. It was good, but I wasn't terribly impressed. I do admit it filled me up quite quickly, though.

My friend makes an amazing snack with Chex. I will have to get the recipe and post it some time this weekend.

Thanks,
Alec

Well, I did say that it was decent. It is healthy, and it beats the alternative.

I am looking forward to that amazing snack that you promised. :)

Thanks for the feedback.
