My fiance asked me to post here as he's a little embarressed.

He's 5'10" and weighs 235 lbs, he can never seem to get below this and although he says he's fine. I'm a little concened about his health. He's a good eater and gets moderate exercise.

Can anyone give us some advice as to how to go about this?

Thanks in advance
Stacey

if he wants to get below 235, he will have to:

1) increase his exercise
2) decrease his carlories
or
3) both

it's that simple, really

"good eater" and "moderate exercise" clearly aren't getting it done for your fiance, and if he wants to change his body he will need to take responsibility for his body and force it to adapt/grow/change

as first steps, why don't you both start a 'food journal' and faithfully log EVERYTHING you eat and drink for a week or three, then evaluate it... try reducing daily calories by 300-500 and then do that for a week or three and evaluate... it's all about measurement and adjustment when you want to change your body

this board is a great source of advice, most of it good; there's no reason for your fiance to be embarassed... it's not like he has to post pics here or anything... encourage him to start a journal and log his progress and take charge of his health!

I forgot to say that he was born with n enlarged heart so we have to keep an eye on that.
