I walked into GNC today to buy Cell-tech by Muscletech for the first time. At checkout the lady asked me why I was getting the cell-tech. She told me there was a product called "American Stamina" by American Sports Nutrition that was a lot cheaper and had a lot less sugar. Directions on the bottle say to take it prior to working out, basically so you can workout longer. Its one of those "all-in-one" type deals with 10 g of creatine, 5g of glutamine, etc (for more info go here: http://www.americanwhey.com/new_products.asp ). I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of or used this product and also if i just bought 50 servings of crap.
Thanks

I wouldn't buy either product TBH. The sugar that is contained in Cell-Tech is beneficial postworkout, but you would be a lot better off just buying pure dextrose and creatine monohydrate.
Basically I would recommend buying some dextrose and/or maltodextrin, whey protein, and pure creatine monohydrate.n Mix all of these together and you have a good postworkout shake. You could buy all three for the price you pay for the same number of servings of Cell-Tech.

Hey Rob,
I have been using American Stamina for several months and the stuff is great and the taste is "awesome", much much better than cell-tech which has way too much sugar. This is also an easy way to get ribose, glutamine, etc. I am also going to try the American Whey protein! I have witnessed great results! - Mike
