Get rid of the towel on the bar when doing squats. If you really need some padding, go get some pipe insulation from home depot. Actually just drop the pads man...get used to it.

Nice lifts, and looking lean!

I don't want to see pictures of you quarter squatting 295, I want to see ATF squats!

Beyond that, your lat spread looks very good. Nice shape and quite lean.

Chris, the title of the picture that appears to be a quarter squat is "on my way down squat". Hence he's going lower than that.

Assasinator, your look very good. You look very proportionate and lean in your front lat spread.

looking pretty strong.
Nice weight on the press, but we need proof of you pressing it. Not that I dont believe you, but it would just look a lot cooler.

LOL, not the first time i heard that "REAL MEN USE NO PADS"
even with the damn thing, i get left with marks on my back, the more padding the better :) , and CHRIS, its 330, theres a 25 behind that 35
Stevo, i got that weight for 6, it was quite heavy, this was the first time i ever leg pressed, so i didnt know what i was capable of.

Thanks for the replies

I am sooooo tempted to respond with heavy sarcasm, but I won't.

I normally only believe what I can see, and all I see is him bending his legs a few inches. Who knows how deep he went?

I did request from the photographer to take it right on the bottom, the amea had like this double click button, so u cant get every split second u want .

Relax, that comment was not directed at you, it was directed at him. As to the depth, other than what I mentioned in my first post, it is really irrelevant to me. Quarter and half squats have their benefits.

Aight bro ... every once in while everyone plays aorund with halfs, but a squat , i never heard of those ....

I can vouch for his form. He is going parallel.

All I was saying Chris is that there is no reason to believe he wasn't going parallel. He said he wasn't and just because the picture was taking at the quarter squat position doesn't mean he wasn't going further. I see no reason to suggest otherwise of him either, especially if he told us that he was going further down.

I think your lying and you really only did go down that far! :p

Looking good. How much weight is on the leg press? First time? Yeah I just threw them into my routine, only have done it once or twice.

Hexagon.. ? with wholes all around em ? I think they kinda cool, but i hate these dumb plates that have rotating handles on them !

The ones with holes in em', give u a place to grip on ..

Assassinator, you look great no doubt but I think that that's how far you really went down on the squats. The reason I say this is because people with poor squat form do a half/quarter squat while their needs are already passed their toes while in the half/quarter squat position. From the position of your knees when you're already that high, there's no way you could go down much farther other wise you would be on your toes and you'll fall over.

Nonetheless, you look good but drop the weight down and squats and do them with a proper ROM

Again with my previous post, I pointed out why he coudn't have gone down any further. A lot of people who don't squat properly do knee bends. And judging by how far his knees are over his toes in such a high position, there's no way he could have squatted himself down or else he would have fell over.

OMG, guys, AGAIN!:)

Anyway, look good as always. It's fantastic you're only 17. With those genetics you should compete, you know? Ever thought about that?

Assassinator

Well anyway, im still perfecting my squatting form, no ones perfect, its very uncomfortable with toes out and a wide stance, and you are right, you cant go ATF with that kinda stance i had, however, my intention with that weight was to do a regular squat.

I've been advised by someone not to go real heav with 6 reps, rather to try something like this ... 20-16-14-12-10-8 reps, i will then be able to use lighter weights such as 275 to go ATF with 10 + reps.

Still havnt figured out what works for me .

Ask, thaught about it ... yeah .... but its not what im working out for ... besides, i dont wanna shave my whole body, is there any comp out there for HAIRY BODYBUILDER !? :)
