Was shopping Monday night, buying my natty PB, when I look over and see "Snickers flavored PB". It's PB with chocolate and "nougat" swirled in it. Something like 12g of Sat fat and tons of sugar per 2 tbls.

Why is America overweight? Bing! Next they'll have "Low-fat" Snickers PB.

i keep hearing how good natty pb is, i bought smuckers (i heard many good things about it), but it just hasn't caught on with me. Was it an acquired taste for most?? Perhaps I just need to give it more time.

i convinced my gf to go the natty route -- she polished off 7 jars in less than a month after wrinkling her nose at the first bite then realizing it's da bomb!

<imagines Rani and her GF eating natty p-butter>

I didn't used to have those impure thoughts until you posted that new avatar Rani! Ok maybe one or two.

I thought the consistency and taste were weird the first couple times I ate it... that was just a week ago, I love the stuff now. It f*cking rocks!!! Smuckers is what Ive been buying too...

I made the raniali quote list AND got quoted in the thread itself, NICE!!! :D And it is true :) Im not sure about men being at fault for EVERYTHING though ;)

I use either Kroger, Publix(called old-fashioned peanut butter), or Smuckers natty peanut butter, so far all three are excellent :)

i think its the consistency of natty that makes it so good

It took me about 2 days to get used to the consistency, but now I love it. The wife has been eating it too, and it's so hard to get her to eat the right foods.

It's more satisfying to me. Regular peanut butter slides right down, but there's more substance to natty. Its weird. I love it.

Well im cutting and it adds lots of sugars in the form of glucose, when cutting that isnt the best idea ;) I'll probably have some 4 carb ups come to think of it.

raniali

hmm- 1 tablespoon has about 8 g fat, 4 g protein and 4 g carbs. i guess that's quite a bit .... if you're starving.

Natty pb would be the complete opposite of what you want on carb up, as far as food choices go. Fat should be kept at a minimum when carbing up and as Raniali said it has very little carbs and some of those are from fiber. Raniali does know her natty pb:D

... and according to others here, i know my pb more personally.
