What's the general consensus on hummus? I mean, it's got a decent amount of protein, but is high in carbs however a good part of those carbs come from fiber.

Basically, should this be a part of my daily intake, or should I avoid it?

dont forget most hummus is made with a large amount of olive oil
if your diet is adjusted for the calories - it really doesn't matter what you eat in small amounts.

Well, I just had hummus on pita with veggies. About 600 cals. But I don't eat it that often, just wanted a change.

the ingredient listing on both of these look kosher though - no pun intended.

i don't know if these are good if you have a bulking goal, but looks fine for a cutting goal. either way...be aware you might have GAS issues lol.

I'm currently cutting. About 10-13 lbs to go.

Hummus is basically ground up (pureed) chick peas (also called Garbanzo beans). Make it yourself, you can control the salt, spice it up, and it's cheaper.

I read in Mens health that Hummus was great for you. Alot of mono fats. I guess so you would have to keep it inline with your diet. To much of anything is no good.
