I think that deadlift picture is an awesome shot of Frannie!!! She looks great (and when I say "great" I mean totally sweet).

Something about big weights and chicas lifting them.

Everybody: yes, that's the UNC football gym. (There's a couple more pics of it that show off the fabulousness even better.....we'll probably put those in my journal though.)

And she wasn't deadlifting.....she was powercleaning. The second picture, with the bar racked, didn't get put up yet, I guess. See, that's what was funny......those are practice plates. They're only 5 lbs each, but they're the size of normal 45's.

We thought it was hilarious, but I guess y'all didn't get it.

Thanks on Frannie's behalf to everybody who said nice stuff. (She's out of town this week, so I am playing social secretary for her.)

*lmao* i totally thought she wa slifting 135, or posing with 45s to look super buff. *lmao*

Ah, so matt was only db rowing like 40lbs then. :D

Good pics...great training, you are looking pretty tough CG with your front bb grip marks along the collar bone. Benching in the rack too...you are hardcore.

They're for working on oly lifts, T - it's so that the bar is in the right position off the floor for things like power cleans (it rests on the floor at the correct height, as it would do with 45's on......people who aren't quite up to powercleaning 135 yet still need to start off with the bar at the right height.)

I apparently enjoy making pointless, inane comments. But I'll try to refrain from that from now on.
