i was feeling lots o' energy and upped the incline waayyyy up on the treadmill. the next day, my big toenail was all purple. this was OVER 3 mo. ago. now the nail is still firmly attached but it is raised i can see it separating from skin at the top. at the bottom, i can see the new nail growing underneath. how long will it take to fall off?

go to a doc, nails problems suck, if it gets ingrown it ****ing sucks.
Yes your best bet is to go to the doc. It will only take like 10 mins when you get in and they'll give you some antibiotic ointment. You could do it yourself but you'll probably end up having to go anyways do to your ameature meadical skills :D

over the weekend, this nail started hurting like a mother**! it was somewhat loose and i was able to remove half of it. now the other 1/2 is there and it hurts when i wear shoes. i'm getting it removed today by the dr. - they said it takes an hour. an hour!!
this bites cuz i'm going on vacation tomorrow for my bro's wedding, and i won't be able to wear normal shoes.
Live with it. I've lost so many toenails it's ridiculous. It will pop off eventually.
