Gatorade (feirce flavour if I have to buy it) powder any flavour I can find.
Gatorade during a workout can help limit catabilism, even though water can hydrate you just as well as any sports drink.

I don't really think drinking a carb drink during training is neccessary unless you are training for an extended period of time. This is assuming that preworkout nutrition has been taken care of.

Usually I do water, but recently I went to coscto and score a 9 gallon powder mix so I've been drinking whilel ifting.
I feel better drinking gatorade while lifting then water.
Very possible palcebo effect, but hey, I feel better and more hydrated.
I was thinking that they may be a good source of post w/o carbs, but I bought one flavor that I don't really recall right now that the first ingredient was high fructose corn syrup. I figured that it was going to be dextrose, but I was wrong. As far as I can see, there is nothing better about these things than a regular pop.

Try low-fat chocolate milk as a post-workout source of carbs AND protein...

I like them IF I've had a realy grueling workout....OR if I'm really low on pre workout energy.

A sports nutritionist told me that Gatorade is superior to the other sports-carb drinks because it does not use fructose. I sip on Gatorade if I'm doing an extended workout, but most of the flavors are too sweet for my tastes.

I disagree because the one flavor that I saw had high fructose corn syrup as an active ingredient.
