I'm trying to get an accurate number for my journal. None of the coldcuts I buy have the nutritional label on them. So I checked out fitday..but don't know how accurate this is. If someone has time, can you tell me if this looks right? Thanks

slice of turkey or ham luncheon meat

Couldn't say. I usually just buy it by the pound and go by weight. For example, if I have 1lb of turkey at 16 slices, it's 1oz. per slice. :D

you could probably ask the place where you get the cold cuts from for the nutritional info on it.

I had the same problem so fortunately the type of turkey I buy is also available pre-sliced. I just went over to that section and looked at the nutri facts. You may want to check that out.

You should try some fresh tuna steak and/or salmon steak. Also try some cod loins. Chicken, lean beef. All quality protein and calories. Especially if you're looking for a calorie boost.

If you find out the specific brand of meat I am sure you can look up the nutriton info on the web. Most supermarket chains carry specific brands such as Boar's Head, Sara Lee, Ziegler, Bryan's, etc.
