I intake close to 2000 calories daily. I"m 6'2, 192lbs. Not sure on bf%. Enough for people to notice.. :D

Been counting my calories. My fat intake has been around 80ish grams a day and carbs have been around 100 or slightly higher. Protein is usually 180. Does this sound ideal for someone cutting?

Lose that Peter Pan, get on the natty bandwagon. Make sure your ground beef is very lean.

Go get some salmon steaks, tuna steaks, cod loins, chicken breast.

I ran out of natty pb. Thats why I had to use Peter pan. errr
So 80 grams of fat/daily seems like too much? What about my carb intake?

You could probably go with a little more protein to be on the safe side, but assuming you are taking in adequate amounts of EFAs the fat content looks fine to me. Remember to get in your protein and EFAs and don't worry about the carbs so much, as overall calories will be more important.

Actually, I find it to be exceedingly too sweet for me. Funny how you can lose taste for something after giving it up for a while.

Hey bradley. I know you said to pick up some dextrose. But what about gatorade post workout? I drank 4 servings (or 56 carbs) during workout..(some of that post workout too)

ALso, on refeed days. What should my carb intake be around?? I've been tipping the 150 mark the past 2 days.
thanks

Are you referring to the powdered Gatorade or the kind that is already in the bottle? The powdered Gatorade would be fine for post workout, but I believe the bottled Gatorade contains more high fructose corn syrup which would not be ideal post workout.

First off on refeed days you would want to be over maintenace cals, so lets assume that your maintenance calories are 2500 cals per day. According to the article I posted above you would want to take in 1.1-1.2*maintenance cals to get the amount of cals you would need on refeed days. We'll say you want to shoot for ~2800 cals on your refeed day.

1g of protein per lb. of bw= 192g=768 cals
~15% of cals from fat= ~47g = 423 cals (most of your fat should be EFAs)

Now the rest of you cals should come from carbs.

2800 - (768+423)=1609 cals = ~403g of carbs

Although I am not for sure of your maintenance calories, I am sure that you will need more than 150g of carbs on refeed days. This should allow you to calculate the amount of carbs that you need based on your maintenance calorie level. It really does not have to be exact, as long as you are over maintenance.
