How many grams of carbs per stick?

Hmmm, no nutrition label on it, just the ingredients. It's one of those huge tubes. 28g for the whole thing, I would imagine it's all carbs.

I was on vacation a couple weeks ago and got some Jumbo pixy stix cause I had no dextrose. It worked just fine, except it tasted nasty to mix grape flavored sugar with chocolate whey.

I've used them mixed in water before.

Oh god, that sounds terrible.

As far as the corn syrup in pixie sticks is concerned, if it doesn't SAY "high fructose corn syrup" it may be about 50% fructose at best. I'm not sure of the exact %. And there's less of that than dextrose or malto.

Bottom line: those pixie sticks sound like a good deal, especially because a little bit of fructose is good for refilling liver glycogen.

Well the first ingredient will make up the majority of the product. For example if the ingredients were dextrose, malto, and fructose then the product would contain more dextrose than malto and fructose. Hope that makes sense:)

You could use it as a post workout source of high GI carbs.
