Hey, you know when you get down to the bottom of the jar and the remainder is rock hard and near impossible to spread. Is it ok to nuke the jar for like 20 seconds? I'm not like turning my EFA's into trans-fatty acids am I hehe?

Natty PB is runny, it wont be like the sugary ones. When you put a spoon in it it will drip and be runny.

That is probably fine seeing as how peanut oil is one of the oils that is somewhat heat resistant.

The reason that natty pb gets so hard at the bottom is because of the lack of oil at the bottom. If you try stirring it up a little better and then flip it upside down it should help in spreading the oil out more evenly:)

It is less sweet than brands like Jiff or Peter Pan, but not really that much difference IMO.

How do you make it?

Most people buy it in the store, but you could grind up your own using a food processor. Just throw in some peanuts and add a little peanut or safflower oil to make it creamy. You might have to add some salt but this would depend on if you used salted or unsalted peanuts.

There are no preservatives in it so it's better kept in the fridge.

Like everyone else said.... just throw it in the fridge. I actually keep my pb out in the garage, we have a food cabinet out there. It stays nice and cool, and it doesn't take up room in the fridge.

I didn't really like it at first. I was used to all the sugar.
