Converting protien in to calories?

Say I wanna start a 3000 builking diet, and I do about 300 grams of protien in it. now according to the 40 / 40 / 20 rule how do I know how much 300 grams of protien is in calorie wise? Same with carbs. Fat also. that would help a bit. Thanks

carbs = 4 calories per gram
protein = 4 calories per gram
fat = 9 calories per gram

40% of 3000 cals = 3000*.4 = 1200 calories = 1200/4= 300g protein

Same calculation would be true for carbs = 300g

20% of 3000 cals = 600 cals = 600/9 = ~67g fat
