A study was done where they give diabetics who couldn`t have carbs at the moment light coke and they still got in trouble

Where's the study? What's light coke? Diet coke? Some new coke? What kind of trouble did it give the diabetics? This isn't very insightful.

ive heard aspartame CAN make you hungry, which could make you want to eat, which could make you gain weight. but that's about it (other then all the other bad things said about it)

Ya. I hear people say they get hungrier when they chew sugar free gum. It's probably the aspartame, or chewing that gum is burning calories.

Well most all sugar free gum that I have seen is sweetened with sugar alcohols, and I believe that chewing gum burns somewhere in the neighborhood of 12 calories per hour which is not very significant IMO.

Chewing gum can cause your body to believe that food is about to be ingested, when in reality it is not. This could lead to hunger.

Im sorry i was hoping you guys would know more. All i heard is they proved that coca cola light contains digestable carbs when the nutritional info says it does not.
