I follow the Wannabe Be Big program and don't really like french presses. Would this be a good alternate routine for me.
close grip ez bar bench press 2 sets of 8,6 reps
weighted dips " " "
rope pulldowns 1 set of 10 reps
I also do dips on chest day but emphazize my chest.

Looks fine for a tricep workout. I personally would only use dips for one workout, not both. If you like using them for both and you keep progressing than go for it.

I donlt see why you canlt use dips instead.. The tri workout is 4 days after the chest one anyhow so I would say its fine...

bench dips are not as good as parallel dips but they take a lot of strain off the chest and allow your chest more time to recover.

I think I might add in the pecdeck and just go very heavy with dips on tricep day.

if your chest can recover from the dips in time for chest day go for it. the only problem is the recovery. when i do dips they really hit my pecs hard. the only reason i recommended bench dips was because the post was about dips and and i don't think that you will have enough time to recover for chest day doing parallel dips on tricep day. (assuming you train each bodypart once a week) like i said before if you can do dips without hitting your chest much or you feel you can recover sufficiently for chest day go for it.
