I just experiened the same thing only with a 4 month "cycle" of xenadrine. The headaches aren't so much from the lack of ephedra but from the lack of caffine. Drink some coffee or tea if it doesn't get better quickly but my problem stopped about 2 days after I stopped.

Ephedra should be tappered off slowly for that reason and because it causes down regulation of 2-beta androgenic receptors, which will leave you in a disadvantagous position regarding fat gain.

Bump to both these guys. I tappered off of hydroxycut from 3x daily, to 2x, to 1x. After that I continued to drink coffee, tea, and diet sodas, because im a caffeine junky.

Holto is right, you cant gain too much fat in two weeks. But I remember that I got cravings really bad after I got off of hydroxycut. Sometimes I would binge on just a ton of food in a short period of time. To make sure you gain as little as possible, make sure you drink tons of water to keep you full. I'd also recommend eating lots of broccoli (low cal, high fiber, very filling) or whatever fills you up to avoid the urge to splurge.

My only question is, do those thermogenics really work well enough to screw with? I have used those before, (Hydroxycut for a month, followed by Xenadrine EFX for another month) and I saw no changes in body composition.

In my opinion, yes, if you want to cut. Ive never tried a ephedra free thermo, but my dad did and said it did nothing for him. On the other hand, my brother is using ephedra free hydroxycut and still losing weight.
Im currently using Ephedrine HCL+200 mg caffeine. It helps give me energy (i dont get enough sleep and am always tired) as well as appetite suppressant. Ive only been on it for about 5 days, but am happy with the results thus far. I think for a one month supply it only cost 20$ too. Not too bad. If you are not worried about the effects of ephedra, this is something you might want to consider.
But also remember, it alone will not change your body composition. You must make changes in your diet and excercise to get a total body makeover!

edit: Please note that my lack of sleep is due to a hectic schedule, not because of ephedra. Just wanted to clear that up. While I've heard some people have trouble sleeping because of being on an ECA, I find that I actually sleep better, probably because im not drowzy and resting the entire day. When you only get 4-6 hours of sleep a night, its important that those hours are uninterrupted!

i honestly think as long as i loose the cravings ill be fine...but i dunno if ephedra free will do that n yes i think that the ephedra helps me burn alot of fat too but im not sure i think its juz alot quicker..

Ephedra really didn't do much for me except put in a better mood and it supplied some energy after working all day. I have been on ephedra for at least a year. I just have never lost weight from it. That is about it. No real side effects are other issues either.

Ephedra worked very well to me in what regards fat loss. It had some side effects, like the one I mentioned in the "danger of ephedra thread" and the dreaded "ephedra dick" which was very inconvenient. Yohimbe helped a bit with that.
