1. Creatine - yeah, it's cheap and useful on occasion.
2. GLutamine - alone is pretty useless. Collectively with other aminos can yield potential.
3. BCAAs - never tried but i want to source some cheaply once i got the cash.
4. HMB - never tried, but i've yet to read anything good about it.
5. Caffeine/Ephedra - Used to love, but the C part of the stack is dropping out of favour with me and once i can find a good, cheap source of forskolin it shall be gone for good. Ephedrine is definately useful in bursts. An excellent appettite suppressant for moi. Only use when cutting.

I'm just going to say 1 and 5 are the only good ones in my experience. I found little to no benefit from using Glutamine or BCAA's alone. As for the HMB, I haven't tried it, but like CD I have yet to hear anything good about it.

I take that back, Bill Phillips said HMB felt like deca. lol.

I've had no worthwhile experiences with any of them.

1. Creatine- Great, I'm on it all the time.

2. GLutamine- Never tried it.

3. BCAAs- Never tried them.

4. HMB- Way too expensive, tried it once but at that price I could only afford one gr per day. It's supposed to actually do something in large doses.

5. Caffeine/Ephedra - Tried, works great but the side effects were just to much. Restlessness, poor sleep quality and insomnia, dificulty sustaining erections, urinary disturbances and prostate enlargement besides some mental confusion. It's a great supplement but to me not worth it.

I like them all.

BCAAs and glutamine are probably lowest on the list, though.

I find HMB very useful when used properly. (i.e. 4g plus a day during negative-only training)

You cannot say that all the supplements from 1 to 5 are useless.
Some work better for some while others workd better for others.
Some bodybuilders have experienced great results from HMB rather than using Andro.
For others, HMB-Creatine-GLutamine mixture has been working very good like EAS Betagen.
Without glutamine you cannot go anti-catabolic all the time.
Without creatine you cannot go bang bang in the gym all the time.
Thermogenics are must for those who have very slow metabolism.

Don't make idiotic statements.

For a first post you should try and make a good impression.
