Great site guys please help been doing typical bodybuilding rotines for years had good sucsess but resently been feeling overtrained so decided to have a week off then shake things up a bit decided to do a strength routine i have always done the main lift deads,bench,sqauts,militarypress,but never done reps below 6 and normaly three exercises per bodypart so devised a new training routine please see what u think and answer questions CHEERS!!!!!!!
DAY 1 MON
cleans 3x5
squats 3x5
stiff deads 3x5
calve raises 3x12

DAY 2 WED
bench 3x5
dips 3x5
seated military press 3x5
close bench 3x5

DAY 3 FRI
deads 3x5
chins/rows 3x5(HELP!!!!)
b/b curl 3x5
grip work(farmers walk not sure?????)

QUESTIONS
1)what do u think of rep scheme CORE/ASSITS?????
2)PULLUP can only get a set of 4,3,2, dont think this is enough thinking of doing rows any suggestions?????
3)grip work never done grip work before always used straps any suggestions on basic exercise PLEASE explain
4)any feed back on general routine

Your Routine looks solid. Let me make a few suggestions, however. Tell me how you like this routine-

Monday-
Front Squats 3X5
Squats 3X5
SLDL's 3X6
Calf raises 3X8

Wednesday-
Bench 3X5
Seated Military Presses 3X6
Dips 3X6
CG Bench Press 3X6 (Substitute Skullcrushers every 4 weeks)

Friday-
Cleans- 3X3-5
Deadlifts 3X5
Rows 3X6 (You can switch between Rows and chins whenever you want)
Shrugs 3X10
BB Static Holds (for grip strength)

silles tell me what u would do then the more feed back the better but thanks hercules nice to see some 1s replying plus could u explain more on why u have no direct bicep work,and u have added shrugs,and upped the reps on assist CHEERS BRO!!!!!

Try this:

DAY 1 MON
cleans 3x5
squats 2-3x5 (70-75% for 3 sets if light, 80-85% for 2 if heavy)
ab work 2-3x8-12
calve raises 3x12

DAY 2 WED
bench 3x5
dips 3x5
seated military press 3x5
close bench 3x5

DAY 3 FRI
deads 2-3x5 (70-75% for 3 sets if light, 80-85% for 2 if heavy)
chins/rows 3x5 (alternate weekly or whenever you feel like it)
b/b curl 3x5
back extensions 2x20
grip work (static holds are fine here)



QUESTIONS

Do pullups like you can, then do pulldowns or rows after.

CHEERS powermandl do u think i should do pullups(palms forward medium grip)chins(palms facing me medium to narrow grip)
