Just curious what you guys thought?

I did quite a bit of Keto earlier in the year and saw some good results. First time around, I had no problem getting into it -- I was living it up on high protein/fat diet during the week and looking forward to that refeed on the weekend.

I recently took about a month off of it (wedding, honeymoon, etc); I've been back on it for the past few weeks and its been SO hard to stay dedicated to it.

I almost feel that a general bodybuilding/fitness diet would serve me better...

WHY has it been hard for you?
finding carbs tempting?

no diet will work without discipline

I am trying to find out the same thing.I think the general one is harder because the results will probably be slower. So it's harder to stay dedicated.

You got it man -- just feeling the carb temptation.

I guess after doing it for 4 months, then going off for 2 weeks its hard to get back into the swing of things.

Funny thing is, its not even "bad carbs" that are tempting me, per se (my cravings are mostly fruits, meal replacement products, and grains).

Well, if you craving carbs, why don't you eat some sugar free jello or some Sweet-n-low (artificial sweeteners). Might help you go longer without carbs :)
