The title says it all... What's a good brand for ALA and where can I get a good deal on it?

I get mine from GNC. 60 100mg geltabs for under $15. Don't know if that's a good deal though.

I get mine from iceman. His boards have info on how to buy from him and it's cheap as hell. 500mg ALA for 30 cents canadian each : http://www.superala.com/prices.htm

Yea i just ordered from iceman for the first time, 100 500mg pills for 20$ us.

How much ALA are you supposed to get a day? I take 1 tablespoon of flax oil a day, and it has 7,140mg of ALA in it, which is WAY more than you get with the capsules. I have no idea who here is the under/overdoser. Where's bradley.....?

They are referring to alpha lipoic acid and not alpha linolenic acid.

Don't forget, the guy caps it in his house. Just curious if it is worth a few bucks to have it bottled professionally?

You had something you wanted to add, eric or just bumping up his post.?

I'm trying the r-ala this time around so I'll see if the difference noticiable between that and the regular ala. I've been buying mine from 1fast400 because it's the cheapest that I had found vs shopping at stores here in Ont.

I originally said that as long as the stuff is what Iceman says it is, capping them at his house is find with me.

But from what I understand, the R-ALA is more potent/efficent so you don't need to take as much right? I might try 1fast400's r-ala next time around.
