I am currently bulking up a little, trying to put on about a stone or two, and consider myself pretty fit (can run 6 minute miles etc ) but while i do weights three times a week, i normally finish a session with 30 mins cardio, fairly intense. Is this pointless if i am trying to bulk, considering i dont need to be 'fit' at this stage of the year?
Not exactly pointless but it will greatly decrease your capacity to gain. I personally like cardio and feel like something is missing if I'm not doing any so I just cut way back on intensity and instead of 3 cardio sessions a week I do 2while bulking. I could probably gain faster if I didn't do any but I hate life without cardio.

If your doing the cardio just because you want to and not trying to lose fat then it just means you'll have to eat a little more.

As long as you eat enough to continue to gain weight, it should do nothing but good. :thumbup:
