So I bought some fat free cottage cheese today....

It's gross as hell. I put some sugarfree jelly into it, and it's *semi*-edable.

Is fat free that much worse than regular?

If its that bad, dont eat it :) I hate tuna, so I dont eat it, even tho its a top rated BB food.

I hate Tuna. I bought it like three times and cannot force myself to eating it. I can eat cottage cheese but after a while, I get bored. Last time I ate, it was with raisins and some cinnamon.

Cottage cheese it pretty good. I can't stand the fat- free one like you said, so I just buy low-fat.

I like to mix cottage cheese with a bit of natural apple sauce. Or with a little avocado and salt/pepper.

some stores sell cottage cheese pre-mixed with fruit. That's what I buy.

try the 2%
there isn't THAT much fat in it and it tastes a helluva lot better

rather than jelly, why not toss in some fresh fruit?

I mix it with peaches. I hate cottage cheese when its plain but for some reason I actually like it with peaches.

Wow, I always thought fruit and cheese don't go together.

yum fruit and cheese are great together. at a lot restaurants, many salads have fruit and cheese, nuts together. its soooo good, but too bad the cheeses they have are fatty (goat cheese, bleu cheese, fontana etc) ppl usually don't think of salad for a cheat meal but these are really good.

i don't taste a difference w/ nonfat /lowfat so i stick with the nonfat one. you should try different brands because they do taste different. i tried a few brands before i found one that i liked.

i heard breakstones 2% is the best tasting. i eat trader joe's fat free .

I think it's the curdy nature of the cottage cheese that turns me off. Ill try regular or low-fat.. assuming my dad will eat it if I don't.

cottage cheese + fresh peaches = yum.

i think i'm gonna try ccourtney's avocado and salt and pepper idea next week. I jsut don't think i can prep the avocado beforehand.

Friendship cottage cheese is the quite superior, though the california style has 3 grams of saturated fat perserving, bad juju!

only if you are watching fat grams.
