View Full Version : HIIT + Weights - > Same day?

Hi all,

I've read through at least a hundred posts regarding HIIT, and don't recall whether or not people addressed whether HIIT and weights on the same day would be ok.

I wasn't thinking any large muscle groups per say, but say HIIT w/biceps or HIIT w/triceps or calves since they are sort of lagging.

I don't know if having a day just for bis or just for tris or calves is a wise thing.

Having said that, if you train two or more muscle groups in a day, I think it would be difficult to have a solid HIIT session the same day. I would just leave it to an off day.

it would be fine IMO to do weights and HIIT in the same day. but i would be sure to space them out. like do weights in the morning, and then cardio in the afternoon
