View Full Version : cardio and lifting...the enigma

hey yo peeps. i have just started to lift weights and try to get fit for the last 5 months. even though i know that doing cardio and lifting on the same day isnt the best idea, i have heard that since i haven't been lifting/training that long, its actually kind of easy for me to burn fat and build muscle at the same time, as opposed to people who have lifted for several years. i was thinking about going on a bulking diet since im a small guy (5'9, 159 lbs), but i really dont want a gut anymore, and the only way to get rid of the gut is do cardio and aerobics. what can i do to bulk up, get some mass and drop my fat around my stomach at the same time? i dont want to get more stomach or VISIBLE BF increases. thanks.

I would go on a clean bulk, and maybe throw in an HIIT or cardio session on off days.

Then ask another question in the orginal thread or bump it. You keep making tons of thread people are going to ignore them or things are going to get confusing.

that's not my problem if it gets confusing for you or anyone else. no one said someone HAD to answer. however, i see what your saying and will consider your opinion.

It is your problem if people ignore you.

The 3453 posts beside his name indicate that he is used to the antics of this forum and you should probably take his advice. Use different posts for *different* topics, but if you just want more information or clarification, bump the thread up to the top.
