i do about 20 min cardio for a warm-up before i lift. is that good to do?

ok...cool. i want to lose my gut though, even though i wanna get bigger with lifting. should i do cardio after i lift?

personally - i think cardio and wts are like oil and water; they don't mix. if you hit cardio like you hit the weights, there should be no energy left over. and vice versa.
i leave cardio for an "off" day from training. so if i want to do HIIT, i have energy. if i want to run for an hour, i have energy.
btw - we all want to get bigger AND leaner at the same time ... i think its better to put your focus on one or the other, but many people feel the incorporation of HIIT 2-3x a week is beneficial to this aim.

I agree with saving the energy for lifting. But not sure about about not mixing cardio and lifting on same days. Depending on the cardio you might be better off letting you body rest.
I do cardio same day as working. I agree with what you said, that if you gave er hell you would be to tired to do the other. But I wo at home, and take a break.
