View Full Version : Cardio while on the gear?

Some one told me you should NOT do cardio when using the gear. Does it just defeat the purpose? I know some guys think cadio is kind of sissyish but I think that, atleast for me, cardio keeps me from getting fat. If it is possible to do a light cardio workout can somebody share their routine? Thanks

Whoever you told you that is a complete friggen idiot and the fact that this person puts chemicals in his body that he obviously doesn't understand is flat out scary.

Probably the most severe side effect associated with anabolic steroid use is their impact on blood lipids meaning they can lower HDL (good cholesterol) while increaseing your LDL (bad cholestrol) Cardio is the single best way to protect your heart on cycle and probably in general.

On top of that it is a major factor in keeping you lean. No matter how big you get your not gonna look impressive carrying around 40lb's of fat.

Cardio is not nearly as catabolic as some make it out to be let alone in someone chemically enhanced. Either 4 low intensisty cardio sessions a week or 3 HIIT sessions will not impact your muscle gains and will carry many benefits.

My, uh, good friend, noticed that when he was on anadrol that it was hard to run a significant distance(IE- your normal 20-40 minute cardio session) due to severe cramping of the lower legs, due to the increased red blood cells caused by anadrol. Also, slight feet swelling occurred during cardio as well. To remedy this, sprints were done instead, which are effective at burning fat and seemed not to cause cramping like the low intensity, long duration work did.

I dont know if you're on anadrol, probably not. I just have to say dont stop doing cardio. It will definitely keep fat in check during your cycle, and will help keep off an amount of water retention in check as well.

Thanks for the information ST and Budiak, I didn't believe the guy either who told me at first but I just needed a second opinion on the matter. I am not taking anadrol, but I am sure they all work the same way in the body one way or another and cause similar effects. I haven't started gearing up yet but I will surely take your guys' advise when I start.

my friend said just 2 do 4 days aweek of cardio when on gear prefferrably walkin up hill for about 30 mins, to burn the fat and you wont burn the muscle..the problem is getting urself on the cardio routine..lol

Definitely do cardio.Anyone who tells you not to is a fool.If you are trying to bulk up you should keep it to a minium.I say 15 minutes 5 days a week at least.I personally do at least 30 minutes a day.It doesnt eat into your muscle gains enough to not do it

cycle how many days of cardio u do a week but definitely do it. its not fun being a fatass, i learned my lessons
