Should you avoid doing test cycles if you suffer from enlarged prostate? Would proscar be enough to block test to Dihydrotestosterone conversion if you were taking say 750mg test a week?

I would recommend avoiding the use of all androgens/anabolic steroids if you already suffer from an enlarged prostate.

Finasteride can successfully prevent BPH however it increases your risk of developing high grade tumors by a small degree, possiby due to intraprostatic estrogen activity.

While DHT has been linked to BPH so has estrogen and other androgens. It's development is extremely complexed and influenced by numberous pathways....many of which we are just learning or have yet to learn.

So by simply blocking DHT you are hardly protecting yourself and until more is known about BPH I'd say your risks far outweight the benefits to you of using steroids.

 I have not been diagnosed as having BPH but I do have some symptoms, I guess I will let the VA check it out. Iwonder if they can diagnose without using the finger? (I hate the finger)
