Where to start? Proper training and diet are the first things. Your protein shakes won't do jack without everything else in line.

Post your daily diet here for critique, and post your training over in that section for critique. Run a search on diet and training, go check out the WBB routine, and.....welcome. :)

My diet is as follow:

Breakfast- 2 pieces of toast, bowl of ceral, glass of milk.

Snack around 3 hrs later- penutbutter sandwich or cheese sand.

Lunch a hour after- usually some pasta or KD.

Snack 3 hrs later- a hotdog or a burger.

Dinner- Chicken and noodles or hamburger helper something along those lines.

Add 4 eggs to meal one.

Add some meat to meal 2.

Add some meat to meal 3.

Add a bowl of cereal to meal 4.

Add some milk to meal 5.

Then you should be ok.

Well it is easy to say add a meal or add mores eggs to your meals or more something, but that is hard to do.

Your stomach can only handle so much. So you need to really think about how you are going to get the most (calories, protien and carbs) from the quantity you eat.

Try 6 or 7 small meals. Adding a Whey protein supp. will help, but you have to commit to the routine. If you use the whey to add another 50 g of protein a day you will see results.

The WBB routine is a great workout and you will gain.

If you do have problems eating enough get a weight gainer..

You still need to eat more REAL food though...

Not gaining? Eat more.. Still not? Eat more.. Repeat untill you are gaining.

DRINK A GALLON OF MILK A DAY! This is a MUST to gain weight. 2000 cals and 160g of protein in a gallon of milk. Drink a gallon of whole milk along with your normal meals and your set!

120 x 24 = 2880

What do these numbers mean?

Is brown rice a good addition to the diet?

Thanks,

brown rice is good

those numbers mean your body weight * 24 to get the # of cal's you should eat to gain weight. that is pretty high though. i think 18-21 * bw might be better. especially at first. don't just start eating a ton, you'll feel like crap. up your calories during a week or two until you're up to 18,21,24* bw, whatever you want to try. at 16 you're metabolism is fast enough that it will take a lot of food to gain weight. i'm 18 and i basically spend half my day preparing food and the other half eating it!

and drinking a gallon of milk is totally unnecessary.

Drinking a gallon of milk a day is just disgusting.
