well,after having an accident a while ago,i had to stop training due to a bad neck. when i stopped training i could bench 180lbs for 5 reps and deadlift 250lbs for 6.now i tried to bench today and only could manage 100lbs for 2 reps!i need some advice on how to build my strength back before going back into gaining mass. i have no bench at home as it broke and cannot afford a new one,so benching is not an option.any ideas?

Firstly, make sure your health stays well. Secondly, follow any listed strength training routine but omit the bench. You could do a bench-free Westside and strengthen areas of your body and when you get back onto a bench, you can insert that portion. It's not ideal but it will work well enough.

Warm up real good and go light even if you want to go heavy .

I had a partial tear a couple years ago in my rotator and it never got better until Iwent light for a long time and went slow . Now I'm almost good as new , I don't go heavy that much anymore .
