Hello Fellas today I am having a cheat meal. I am going to the Outback Steakhouse. I am definitely getting the blooming onion and a dessert. Both of them will be shared with my girl. Anyways can you guys give me a suggestion on a main dish?

Don't do a half-assed cheat day mang!

The bloomin onion and dessert probably already will equal your entire daily caloric limit anyway. :p

LOL...See two weeks ago I had a bad one. I ate 300 grams of fat and 600 carbs. So I don't want to do that again. That day was more like a cheat orgy.

how steak can possibly be unhealthy, i don't know.

considering all the carbs and crap and fat you'll be taking in the least oyu could do is ensure you are gettign decent protein too.

Well I want to make sure I am getting the good cuts of steak if I get one.

the filet is a good cut. it's basically well.. a filet. lean and tender.

Great! I guess I will go with that and the potato. I am eating really lowfat today by the way. Untill my cheat meal. Just eating my Basal and my cheat meal.

If I'm getting steak, I get the biggest one there. It'll be tender enough if its rare.

Yeah I have to make sure it is tender. I can not stand hard meat. That is a reason why I barely eat steak. Too tough sometimes.

forget Outbacks... do they have Montanas down there?

the local Montanas have had an all-you-can-eat ribs special on lately that is totally kickass. My brother and I ate the Montana's in Ottawa out of back ribs earlier this month... they wound up giving us free dessert and coffee after we demolished 6 racks of back ribs and an unsatisfactory rack of side ribs, each...

mmm.... ribs....

Geez...I though I had a cheat orgy. That was a good one though(Cheat Day). Unfortunatley there is not a Montanas where I live.

I can't believe you suggested Montanas over Outback. You should be shot for even thinking such a notion.

I've been to a few Outbacks around Ontario.

Overpriced, strictly adequate steak. Same atmosphere you find at Montana's, Lone Star's, etc, etc, ****ing etc.

oh, and in Toronto, the best steak and ribs joint, IMHO, is:

The Steak Pit
on Avenue Rd., just north of Lawrence

simply AMAZING meat. Reasonable prices.

Fellaz remind me to never have that bloomin' onion. It was horrible. I am glad I only ate a quarter of it. I had the Sweet Potato with butter and the Victoria Fillet with a House Salad and Ranch Dressing. That was extremely good. For dessert I had the cholclate thunder from down under. That was Great! Unfortuanatley I see the inmpact those foods had on my body. I got to get back on the ball.

black angus > all

aged beef is just so goood...more pricey, but the finer things in life seem to come with a pricetag...except god's gift to man...Tuna!

youve all gone mad......

Oddly enough the best thing on the menu at the Outback Steakhouse isnt a steak. Its the fresh fish.

They cook up some mean salmon and halibut...wiht great spices and dipping sauce. Their steaks are too small and overpriced, and arent as good as lets say....a hungry hunter steak.

Go with the salmon, get your EFA's and protein and still feel like your cheating...its AWESOME.
