If I am cutting, how many grams of carbs should I consume daily?
I am 5'9", 150lbs.

after deciding on total cals daily
determine protien requirements then use 25% cals for fat and make up the rest in carbs

I've heard that if you keep fats around 30% that keeps your test levels at their peak. Wouldn't this be ideal?

I don't know Khar
as I understand it test production drops when you are below 20%
if going to 30% will make a significant difference it would be worth it
for a more experienced dieter hitting 30% from clean sources is much easier to do

I have seen different recommendations of fat intake to optimize testosterone, and these range from 25%-40%. Which is ideal I am not sure.

the only way to know for sure is to try it both ways and then get blood work done

From the few studies I've read that compare T levels from different %fat diets, I've seen few around the 25% range. Most compared lowfat (~10%) with higher fat (40% or higher). The only thing that is certain is that 10% fat is not enough to keep T levels up. What % to go at in between, hmmmmm........? I think I like the 30% range (from mostly good fats).
