I have purchased NLarge2 from Prolab in the past and I am using it right now. My question is, the recommended usage is 4 scoops per serving, what do you guys use? I currently am taking 3 scoops post workout with milk.
I have read on another post that some people add a scoop of Prolab pure whey, what is the added benefit in doing that?
And regarding the milk, how much(if you use milk) do you add with your supplement?

when I use it post workout I tend to use 4 scoops in a litre of milk, but that's just me :)

I use 2 scoops in total throughout the day my post workout shake looks like this
1 scoop of Opti-Rx= 280 cal, 20g Protein, 10g carbs and 1.5g fat
1 scoop of NLarge= 150 cal, 13g Protein, 22g carbs and 1.0g fat
1 serving of Gatorade/Ice Tea crystals 132 cal and 33g carbs
Before bed I take the Nlarge and Opti-Rx w/50g of skim milk powder that contains 180 cal, 17g protein, 23g carbs and .1g fat

what i do is have 2 scoops with semi skimmed milk.
What you could do for convienience and to save a bit moolah is whip like a litre of milk in a blender [full faat if you like] and throw in 4 scoops. Once it's mixed then keep it in the fridge and use it when you need it. This woukld probably last bout a week providing you only drank it post workout.

tuttut Flake bro.. thats a lot of protein post workout. You're gettin 85 g protein. :eek: Damn bro.. you like havin lots of protein at one sitting don't ya? lol...

I think thats a good amount. But how much milk are you using? Thats what it'll come down to. 3 scoops is 66 g carbs and about 1.25 g fat or so and 39 g protein..... The total of each is what really matters.... ;)

*** Spidey I do the same thing post workout. Some studies have shown it may be a effective time to get the most of your protein.
Again one must use discretion.
